Through decentralised production and enabling on-site, on-demand hydrogen generation, LUX eliminates the need for large-scale centralised plants, long-distance transportation, and extensive storage infrastructure.

Revolutionising the Liquid Hydrogen Value chain

The value chain problem

LH2 is typically produced in large, centralised plants at scales of up to tens of tonnes per day, primarily using energy from fossil fuel sources. Once produced, it is transported over hundreds of kilometers, often taking days to reach its final destination.

This supply chain model depends on large-scale storage at the point of use, imposing significant storage requirements. As a result, additional permitting, licensing, and capital-intensive infrastructure are necessary at the delivery site.

The LUX solution

Simply - by producing LH2 on-site, on-demand we entirely eliminate the need for transportation and large scale storage i.e. kgs vs tonnes.

Our modular systems can also be connected to fill pre-existing large scale storage, on-site. Eliminating the transportation element of the value chain.
